Community Health Institute is committed to extending quality healthcare services beyond our classrooms and into the communities we serve. Through our comprehensive outreach programmes, we translate knowledge into action, making a tangible impact on public health across Nigeria.
We conduct regular community-based health screening programmes for early detection and prevention of common health conditions. Our mobile screening clinics bring essential healthcare services directly to underserved communities, ensuring accessible preventive care for all.
CHI operates immunization clinics providing vaccination services for adults, focusing on preventable diseases. We combine vaccination delivery with health education to increase awareness and uptake of life-saving immunizations in communities.
Our health education initiatives target both community members and health professionals, covering critical topics such as disease prevention, nutrition, maternal and child health, mental health awareness, and healthy lifestyle practices. We use culturally appropriate methods to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
Through strategic health communication campaigns and social marketing initiatives, we promote behaviour change and healthy practices in communities. Our campaigns address pressing public health issues using innovative communication channels and community engagement strategies.
We conduct comprehensive health needs assessments in communities to identify priority health issues and inform evidence-based interventions. These assessments guide our outreach activities and help communities develop targeted health improvement plans.
We collaborate with local governments, community-based organizations, faith-based institutions, traditional leaders, and international development partners to maximize our outreach impact.
