Malnutrition remains a significant public health challenge among the elderly, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Aging-related physiological changes, socioeconomic constraints, and limited access to healthcare increase vulnerability to nutritional deficiencies. Nutritional supplements have the potential to improve dietary intake and health outcomes, yet their use and patterns among elderly populations in Nigeria remain poorly understood.
